Rodrigues invites you to celebrate one of its most cherished cultural traditions during the 26th edition of the Rodrigues Kreol Festival, a full week dedicated to the island’s Creole identity, creativity, and vibrant spirit.
For eight days, the island will come alive with music, séga tambour, traditional dance, local crafts, authentic gastronomy, and cultural exchanges. This flagship event showcases the talent of Rodrigues’ artisans, the richness of its culinary heritage, and the unique energy of its artists.
The festivities will take place mainly along Rue Solidarité in Port-Mathurin, transformed into a lively cultural village filled with performances, workshops, exhibitions, and craft markets.
The celebration will conclude in spectacular fashion on 7th December at Pointe l’Herbe, with a traditional regatta, a highlight of the festival where colourful sails glide across the lagoon to offer a breathtaking and unforgettable show.
