Description
The St. Gabriel cathedral is found in the center of Rodrigues and is the home to the Apostolate Vicariate of Rodrigues, which is responsible for the catholic religion in Rodrigues. Erected between 1936 and 1939, each and every parishioner who arduously lugged stone, sand and coral from all corners of the island, contributed to the construction of the edifice.
